In January of 2017, 2SG Group started out as 2SG Woodworks, a combination wood pattern shop used in the commercial packaging industry and military packaging service to a couple defense manufactures here in the Metro Detroit area. Through word of mouth, our reputation of being a one stop shop packaging house and fast turnaround times processing military contracts, the company started to grow at a good pace. We decided to change the name to 2SG Packaging. In the first quarter of 2021 we continued the next phase of growth by incorporating 2 other businesses, Tamsco Inc., a long-standing military packaging provider in the Detroit area and Pro-Pak Products, a commercial packaging supply house. We decided the combination of all 4 businesses relating to the packaging industry should be under one umbrella, thus 2SG Group was created.
